🌟 April Highlights at Park River Area School 🌟

At PRAS, we’re proud of our strong, positive school culture—and April gave us so many reasons to celebrate! From hands-on learning to team successes and unforgettable experiences, this month was packed with joy, growth, and PRide!

🚜 Snowplow Visit – Our 6th graders got a special visit from “Plower Ranger,” a finalist in the ND/SD Snowplow Naming Contest—and it’s from right here at PRAS! Way to go, Ben!

Boys Golf Tees Off – Our golfers are back on the course and making great strides this spring.

🎺 Large Group Music Competition – The PRAS Band earned an Outstanding Performance rating—what an incredible achievement!

🧮 MathCounts at Valley City – Students represented our school proudly with strong problem-solving and teamwork.

🔥 FFA Welding Competition – Our student welders showed off their skills in this hands-on, high-demand career competition.

📝 ND A+ State Assessments – Students worked hard and finished strong—thank you to our staff and families for your support!

🌲 Wolf Ridge for 8th Grade – A week of adventure and environmental learning—an unforgettable experience!

🛍️ Senior Trip to Minneapolis – A special trip to make up for the Wolf Ridge trip they missed in 8th grade—memories made and bonds strengthened.

🎙️ Speech Success – Our Region 2 meet led to state-level competition for our talented speakers—amazing job!

🍽️ FCCLA State Leadership Conference – Big congratulations to Andrew, Drake, and Lexi S for qualifying for Nationals!

🩸 NHS Blood Drive – Service in action! Thank you to our National Honor Society students and donors for making a difference.

👟 Track Season Begins – Our student-athletes hit the track with strong performances right out of the gate.

🎶 Pony Pride Playground Dance Party – Nothing beats celebrating good choices and school pride with music, dancing, and smiles outside!
