Mrs. Lindell’s 5th graders turned their classroom into an Order of Operations Operating Room on Halloween! Dressed as surgeons, these math whizzes practiced solving multi-step equations.

A huge thank-you to First Care Health for donating supplies that made this hands-on lesson so memorable! 💙

The Park River-Fordville-Lankin volleyball team will begin postseason play tomorrow. The Aggies have the #1 seed in the District 3 Tournament, which is being played at Northwood High School. Their opening match opponent will be the #8 North Border Eagles.

The PRFL One Act Competition Team is excited to present The Absolutely Insidious and Utterly Terrifying Truth About Cat Hair written by Bradley Walton. We will take the Aggie Stage (in the Elementary Gym) on Tuesday, November 4th at 7 pm for friends, family, and our community. We hope to see you there!

Join us on Tuesday, October 21st as we recognize the senior members on the girls golf and volleyball teams. This recognition will take place immediately following the JV volleyball match with North Border. Parents and seniors should plan to meet in the northwest corner of the gym at this time.

Last night the PRFL Volleyball team hosted their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night. This year, the volleyball and football teams joined forces to sell t-shirts to raise money, and we were able to sell 240 shirts and raise over $1200 to donate to local families battling cancer. Thank you to everyone who bought a shirt or otherwise donated!

The Aggies volleyball teams will head to Central Valley today to take on the Hillsboro-CV Burros. The match schedule is as follows:

- 8th Grade @ 4:15 PM (North Gym)
- 7th Grade to follow (North Gym)
- C Squad @ 4:45 PM (Main Gym)
- JV and varsity to follow (Main Gym)

At Park River Area Elementary, we are always striving to be the best we can be! Each month, our learners focus on a character trait that empowers them to grow and succeed—both in school and in life. For the month of September, our students focused on the foundational skills that support our school-wide expectations: Be Safe. Be Respectful. Be Responsible.
Throughout the month, students demonstrated these important behaviors in classrooms, hallways, and during special classes such as Physical Education, Music, and Library. Teachers from each area selected students who went above and beyond in showing what it means to be safe, respectful, and responsible.
Congratulations to our September Students of the Month for setting a positive example for others and helping make Park River Area Elementary a great place to learn and grow!

The Aggies golf team heads west for the 2025 North Dakota Class B State Golf Tournament. The tournament is being held at beautiful Pheasant Country Golf Course in South Heart, North Dakota on Monday, September 28th and Tuesday, September 29th.
