🎉 Senior Spotlight: Jonas – Class of 2025! 🎉 Today, we’re excited to celebrate Jonas and his journey through school! 📚 Elementary School Memories: One of Jonas’s favorite field trips was fishing with his Grandpa Jerry in 4th grade (Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs)—a special memory that stuck with him. In gym class, he always looked forward to playing Yoshi! 🏫 High School Highlights: Jonas loved all of his history classes throughout high school. A standout moment was going to state music with all of his friends, a memory filled with talent, teamwork, and fun. He’s especially thankful for the inspiration and motivation from Miss Ulland and Mr. Lee. ✈️ Looking Ahead: Jonas dreams of a future flying agricultural/spray drones—a perfect match for his interests and ambitions. If he could have any superpower, he’d choose flight, so he could explore the world. When asked what he’ll miss most, Jonas shared, "I’ll miss my class, as this year I really feel like I belong." 🎓 Senior Spotlight: Garrett M – Class of 2025! 🎓 Let’s give it up for Garrett, a proud Park River Area senior who's leaving his mark through creativity, hands-on learning, and big dreams for the future! 🔬 Elementary Favorites: Garrett always looked forward to Science, where curiosity and experiments made learning fun. A field trip to Larimore and rolling around on scooters in gym class were among his standout memories. 🚗 High School Highlights: Garrett found his niche in Auto Tech, his favorite class, and loved performing in One Act plays, where he got to showcase his personality and creativity. One of his most memorable moments? The Senior Trip, hands down! 💡 Future Plans: Garrett dreams of owning his own business—a goal fueled by his passion, drive, and hands-on talents. 🎓 Senior Spotlight: Ian Rutherford – Class of 2025! 🎓 Meet Ian Rutherford, a Park River Area School senior who's ready to take the next step at the University of North Dakota! 📘 Elementary Highlights: Ian’s favorite subject in his early years was Social Studies, where his interest in how the world works began to grow. 🧠 High School Favorites: He’s especially enjoyed Problems of Democracy (POD) and valued real-world insights from Mr. Young—especially conversations around the stock market. 🛠️ Some of his favorite class memories were working in the shop with Mr. Arndt. 🗣️ Words of Wisdom for Freshmen: “Work hard and make the most of the opportunities that come your way.” 🎯 Next Steps: Ian is headed to UND, where he plans to study and explore new opportunities. This Park River Area School senior is charting a course for commercial aviation and chasing his dream of becoming a pilot. 🏃‍♂️ Elementary Favorites: Cutter’s favorite subject was physical education, and he always looked forward to dodgeball in gym class! 🛠️ High School Highlights: He’s loved Home and Auto with Mr. Arndt, and one of his top memories is hanging out with Mr. Arndt and Ian on FFA trips. 🏠 Favorite hangout? Nevin’s house 👬 What he’ll miss most? All the people he’s made great memories with 🛩️ Looking Ahead: Cutter is preparing for a future in commercial aviation, ready to turn his passion for flight into a high-flying career. 🌟 Senior Spotlight: Emma A – Class of 2025! 🌟 Say hello to Emma, a Park River Area School senior whose creativity, school spirit, and love for nature are taking her far! 🎨 Elementary School Highlights: Emma loved visiting the Moe farm in sixth grade, flying down the hill in sleds during recess, and making memories in Mr. Omdahl’s class—especially the fun art projects and movie days. Her favorite subjects? Art and science! 🍑 Favorite cafeteria item? Fruit cups! 💖 Recess favorite: Playing "Pinkie and Yoshi" in gym class! 🎶 High School Highlights: Emma's favorite classes have been Physics and FACS 9. She’ll never forget the magic of Prom 2025 or the excitement of making it to State Music in 2024. A favorite memory this year? Each year, one senior is chosen from each the HS Band and HS Choir to be given an award based on their dedication, leadership, and achievement in the field of Music. This year's John Philip Sousa Band Award was given to Tanner Schramm. This year's National School Choral Award was given to Aubrey Sveen. They were awarded a certificate, desk plaque, pin, and their names will forever be added to the wall plaque in the Music Room! Congratulations Tanner and Aubrey!

🌟 Senior Spotlight: Nevin D – Class of 2025! 🌟 Meet Nevin, a Park River Area School senior who's preparing for a future focused on health, movement, and helping others feel their best! 🎒 Elementary School Throwback: Nevin’s favorite field trip was to Sully’s Hill, and he especially enjoyed science class during his elementary years. 🏫 High School Highlights: Nevin found his stride in Home and Auto class and made unforgettable memories during the sophomore Homecoming football game. 🏈 Favorite Tradition: Homecoming Day and the football game 👬 What He'll Miss Most: Seeing his friends every day 💪 Looking Ahead: After graduation, Nevin plans to pursue exercise science and rehabilitation, where he hopes to help others recover, grow stronger, and reach their physical goals.
