
This past weekend several high school students attended the ND State Music Competition. We are happy to share the results with you. Congratulations to the following small groups!

Night of the Arts including small group performances, speech presentations, shop display and FACS food samples starts at 6:30pm on Tuesday, May 14th.

Nine of our PRAES student were recognized this morning during the Keep North Dakota Clean Awards Ceremony at the State Capitol. We are very proud of them and look forward to seeing a their artwork on our local billboards in the coming months. Students recognized were: Tori Lewis, Keegan Schatz, Dominic Beneda, Myla Thompson, Annie Larson, William Solseng, Karlene Schaf, Weston Koenig and Shayanah Johnson.

Henry placed 9th with his entertain and Tanner and Gavin placed 3rd in their serious duo!
Lexi Shirek also picked up a superior speaker award in Serious Prose and
Tanner got superior speaker in storytelling!
All State - A student wins an all state award by picking up 4 legs throughout a competition season.
Qualifying legs include
*region play qualifying for state
*superior actor at regionals
*superior actor at state
*several debate items we don't compete in
*placing in the top 20% of a speech category (cannot repeat categories)
*qualifying for state speech (cannot repeat categories)
Since I have started working at PRAS, we have not had a student qualify for all state...until this year. And what's better than 1? How about 3?!
Congratulations to Tanner, Gavin, and Alexis for all the work they put in throughout both their seasons to qualify for this award!!

High School Yearbook orders need to be in by April 30th.


The freshmen FACS class took pictures that the kindergarten class drew and brought them to life with their hand sewing skills. Recently they delivered the monsters to their new friends!
